When you need to restore or create a car stereo housing/frame from scratch, the key requirements are always the same:

• precise mounting points;
• accurate geometry;
• rigidity;
• clean, neat appearance.

For this project, the client provided technical drawings — our task was to transform them into a 3D model and produce the finished housing.

The 3D WAY team performed:

• 3D modeling from the drawings — recreating shape, cutouts, reinforcement ribs, and mounting points to ensure a perfect fit;
• FDM 3D printing with PET-G — a material that provides strength, impact resistance, thermal stability, and long-lasting durability.

Result: a fully functional car stereo housing, made to exact dimensions and requirements, without the need to search for rare parts or order costly mass production.
